More Shelf Ready Packaging (SRP) in the next three years

The ECR Italy survey on the use of shelf-ready packaging yielded interesting results: the current slowdown due to the economic situation has not affected the very positive development expectations and forecasts for the near future.

After defining the collaborative process and the tools for developing SRP solutions, ECR Italy began to monitor the situation to analyze the rate of use. The survey included visits to three distribution centres and three retail outlets, sending out 64 questionnaires and analysing the roll-out of four pilot projects that involved four distributors and four manufacturers.
